WORK HISTORY

Pre 1985: Journalism, part-time employment in building and service industries, extensive travel around the world and teaching Art and English as a Foreign Language.

1985-2001:  Director of Akaroa Museum, Banks Peninsula. A social history Museum where stories are told which reflect the whole range of New Zealand’s history.

2001: Elected to Local Government as a Councillor for Banks Peninsula District Council until amalgamation with Christchurch City Council in 2005, subsequently as a Community Board Member.

I have had six years experience on Resource Consent Hearing Panels and have current certification.
